  1. Press your finger against the push-button start button. Do this twice, ensuring you have released your foot from the brake.
  2. Go to your touchscreen and search through the MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment applications menu.
  3. Select “Vehicle Status Monitor” from the application menu.
  4. Click “maintenance” and then navigate to “Oil Change.”
  5. From there, tap the “Reset” button from the oil change menu. After this, the light should begin the process of resetting.

For Other Models;

  1. Press and hold the TRIP BUTTON with the ignition switched off, then switch it on.
  2. Keep pressing the selector for more than 5 seconds.
  3. The master warning light will flash for a few seconds when the reset is completed.

Keep in mind that a maintenance reminder is not the same as a check engine light. A Check engine light corresponds to a specific fault that indicates precise service needs for your vehicle. For more information on Mazda cx-3 oil reset, check out the owner’s manual.
