The Mitsubishi Pajero is equipped with a service remainder light that must be reset upon completing an oil change. Below are the steps on how to reset the light depending on your model.
- Press the Push start button 1 time to enable battery mode.
- Press the Page button until the spanner light is displayed.
- While the Spanner Light is displayed. Press and hold the Page button until the spanner light is flashing.
- While the spanner light is flashing, release the page button then press again until it displays CLEAR on the screen.
- While CLEAR is displayed, press again the page button until it reset to the new Pajero Service schedule.
- Start the engine to check if the Mitsubishi Pajero service maintenance reminder has been reset.
For Older Mitsubishi Models
- Turn Ignition Switch OFF. Press the tripmeter button to display the warning period on the odometer.
- Press and hold the reset button for longer than 1.2 seconds. The service reminder flashes.
- With the reminder indicator flashing, press the tripmeter reset switch for longer than 1.2 seconds. The reminder is turned ON and CLEAR is displayed on the odometer display for 3 seconds.
- After CLEAR is displayed the warning period to the next reminder is displayed.
